His Excellency Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said former President John Dramani Mahama in his adm inistration failed to finish construction of even one road network in the Upper West Region.

He has said this in an interview with Radio Upper West while he was on tour in the region.

He said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) claimed they have done more than 80% of Ghana roads when they were in office. But the New Patriotic Party (NPP) came into office in 2016 to meet exact opposite reality.

“John Mahama and the NDC couldn’t finish one road in the Upper West Region, yet they claimed one of their greatest achievement was building roads across the country.”

The NPP government has said road was one of the major problems in the country when they came into office. They are convinced that they have done far better in the road sector than the former government of John Mahama and his NDC party.

Mr. Bawumia has therefore asked Ghanaians to give them another four years to continue the good works of president Akufo-Addo and the NPP government.
