The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has urged Ghanaians to come together and reject division as we are nearing the 2020 presidential polls.

Speaking to a gathering at Cape Coast in the Central Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang stressed the importance of residents to be united and ensure peaceful elections.

“Work together in unity and shun division because everyone is a Ghanaian. Let’s ensure peace as we get closer to the general elections. We’ve launched our manifesto. We call it the people’s manifesto because we came to you to ask for your needs”, she said.

The vice presidential candidate is expected to meet traditional and religious leaders and the people of Cape Coast as she tours the region for the second time on her campaign trail.
