“Ghanaians will vote against John Dramani Mahama in December 7 as they did in 2016 general elections because of his poor performance.”

President Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo-Addo has said this on Friday 4 September, 2020 in an interview with Oman 107.1 Fm in Accra.

Answering a question about why he thinks he stand the chance to win December 7 general elections, the president replied “Ghanaians voted against Mahama for poor performance, they will do same on December 7 and give me the mandate to serve them for another 4 years.”

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) when in opposition in 2016 lambasted the then president John Mahama and his administration ofn corruption, tagging him as incompetence and a corrupt president.

Flagbearer for 2020 general elections on the seat of NPP, president Akufo-Addo says he is strongly convinced that Ghanaians have not forgotten the hardship John Mahama took the country through.

Both political parties are currently going on regional tours relaying their campaign messages to the people of Ghana with hopes that they will emerge winners in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
