Joshua Akamba disclosed that he made some observations on why the NPP leader was ousted. He disclosed that he would have won if not for his arrogance.

“In politics arrogance doesn’t pay. At a point, I saw my brother become very arrogant and power drunk. I saw a video and I got very worried. I saw 16 Chairmen declare for John Boadu but that was his downfall. Those people contributed to his failure. Even though the Regional Chairman had whipped them to endorse John Boadu, he was not there when they were voting,” he said.

He continued” When delegates vote for you, they are calling on you to serve. We are not called to be worshipped. If someone votes for you they do that so that you serve them”.

“If he had a strategy it would have been glaring. Stephen Ntim has contested for the National Chairmanship position several times and lost. He won this time as a result of sympathy. That their CPP/NPP National Chairman had soiled himself, he has lied to the people.”

“He told the people he had bought buses for them but we never saw the buses. With that kind of deceit, there was no way he could have come back again. He would have wanted to come but the lies prevented him from coming back.”
