The spokesperson of President Akufo-Addo’s legal team in the election petition, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has stated that John Mahama’s petition does not attack the validity of the election.
According to Kojo Oppong Nkrumah the the petition just complains about the errors in the formal declaration.

Speaking on Citi FM and monitored by Ghgossip.com, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said;
“It [the petition] does not attack the validity of the election as a proper election petition should do. It merely complains about errors in the formal declaration.”
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have petitioned the Supreme Court over the results of the recently held December general elections.
