M.I Abaga has been in the music scene for over a decade and has been consistent throughout. He bagged best hip hop act and best new act at the MTV Africa Music Awards in 2009 and was nominated in the Best International Act category at the BET Awards 2010.

The melodic rap artiste was the CEO of Chocolate City from June 2015 to 2019. He officially announced his exit from the collective in 2020 and later founded his record label; “Incredible Music”.
The “One Naira” hit-maker has released four studio albums namely; “Talk About It”, “MI 2: The Movie”, “The Chairman” and “A Study on Self Worth: Yxng Dxnzl”. His hard work, consistency, lyrical dexterity and delivery are among the numerous features that can’t be ignored.
