Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande, professionally known as 9ice unites with gifted Nigerian-French female vocalist, Asa on this beautiful song dubbed; “Pete Pete”. The song was lifted off his 14-tracks studio album; “Tradition”.
9ice released his debut project; “Little Money” in 2000. He won the best hip hop artiste of the year at the MTV Africa music awards in 2008. He also performed at the Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Tribute concert in 2008.
His hit song; “Gongo Aso” won him four awards at the hip hop world awards held in Abuja in 2009. 9ice is the founder and CEO of his own music record label Alapomeji Ancestral Record.
