Popular Nigerian celebrity couples, Adekunle Gold and Simi team up to outdoor a brand new beautifully crafted tune labeled; “Happy Birthday”.
The song is to celebrate their daughter as she clocks 1 today. The lovely sound was produced, mixed and mastered by talented Nigerian sound engineer and record producer, Vtek.
Adekunle Gold married Simi in a private wedding ceremony in 2019. Simi delivered their first child on May 30, 2020. They christened her Adejare Kosoko.
Simi, real name Simisola Kosoko started her career as a gospel singer. Her debut studio album; “Ogaju” was released in 2008. She gained prominence with the release of her song; “Tiff” in 2014.
“Tiff” was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015. Adekunle Gold, born Adekunle Kosoko in 2015 released his debut studio album; “Gold” under the imprint of YBNL Nation.
He’s well known for his 2015 hit song; “Sade”, a highlife cover of One Direction’s “Story of My Life”. Adekunle Gold won the best new artiste at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards the same year.
