Gifted Nigerian songbird and performer, Simi join forces with her daughter, Deja to serve fans and music consumers with the French version to her 2020 hit song, “Duduke”.
This new version comes to celebrate the video which has garnered over 40 million views on Youtube. “Duduke” is the Yoruba word for heartbeat.
Simi, real name Simisola Kosoko started her career as a gospel singer. Her debut studio album; “Ogaju” was released in 2008. She gained prominence with the release of her song; “Tiff” in 2014.
“Tiff” was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies in 2015. Simi is married to Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold. They married in a private wedding ceremony in 2019. The couple recently celebrated their daughter, Adejare Kosoko 1st birthday with a lovely song titled; “Happy Birthday“.
