Member of the governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) and Chief Whip in Parliament, Hon. Frank Annoh Dompreh has stated that their lives were threatened by some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)in parliament when they attempted to prevent Member of Parliament of the Assin North constituency, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson to cast his vote in the Parliament House election of Speaker.

Speaking in an interview with OB on Asempa FM’s ekosisen monitored by Ghgossip.com, Hon Frank Andoh Dompreh said;

“They threatened to spill blood in the house at the clerk’s chamber when we went there. OB I can’t lie here. I cross-checked my facts before coming here.”

Parliamentarians engaged in heated argument and brawl during the voting process to elect a new speaker of for the 8th parliament.
