The NPP Chief Whip in Parliament, Hon. Frank Annoh Dompreh has disclosed that his side wasn’t able to restrict court injection on the MP for Assin North from casting the Speakership vote in Parliament last Thursday because their lives were threatened.

Speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM on the election on which NDC side, Alban Bagbin was declared the winner of the Speakership contest he explained that the NDC threatened to spill blood in the chamber if Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, injected MP for Assin North is not allowed to vote despite the Clerk, Cyrill Nsiah pronounced him from partaking in the proceedings.

According to Frank Annoh Dompreh, someone even blows his stomach when the chaos was ongoing but the camera in Parliament couldn’t capture all the scenes.

He added that they are not going to exhibit such softness in the coming days on Friday when parliament resume sitting because NDC no monopoly over violence
