The General Secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia has noted that there is scheme by President Akufo-Addo to hijack Jerry John Rawlings funeral.
Speaking in an interview with Citi FM and monitored by Ghgossip.com, Asiedu Nketia noted that the president (Akufo-Addo) has refused to recognize that the man( J.J Rawlings) belongs to NDC.

“The President has refused to recognize that the man belongs to NDC, and he is the founder of NDC. Everything about this funeral so far depicts an attempt by an opponent to hijack the funeral of the founding father of our political party, and we don’t think the funeral of our party founder ought to be organized somewhere, and we get invited,” Asiedu Nketia said.
Meanwhile the NDC party have also accused government of preventing their Flag-bearer John Mahama from signing the book of condolence.
