Budding Nigerian singer, Benkrezt has charged his senior colleagues, Timaya and Grammy award winner, Burna Boy to extend a helping hand to up and coming musicians.
Benkrezt cited rapper, Olamide as being a very influential singer in the lives of other musicians as he invested resources to ensure their talents are showcased to the world especially singers from the western part of Nigeria.
Benkrezt urged Timaya and Burna Boy to emulate Olamide and support acts in the South, especially from Port Harcourt, their place of origin.
Sighted on his Instagram story, Benkrezt wrote;
“Olamide has helped a lot of local contents (artists) from the West (lasgidi) rise & stand @burnaboygram @timayatimaya please do same in the south (Port Harcourt, we use God beg una. Plenty talents dey south but helpers far from us”.
This comes barely 48 hours after Zlatan Ibile praised his former record label boss, Olamide.
In other news, former Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate, Pere Egbi has revealed the housemate who will emerge winner in the season 7 edition of BBNaija.
Pere Egbi who had initially expressed his support for Bryann, a housemate in the BBNaija ‘Level Up’ edition disclosed how Bryann reminds him of when he was in his early 20s.
But, perhaps, judging from events going on in the house and probably the euphoria with regards to the preference of fans and viewers of the show, Pere’s perspective as to who will cling the 100million naira.
In a recent tweet he made on his verified Twitter page, Pere who was a finalist in last year’s edition of BBNaija revealed that a female housemate will win this year’s edition of the most-watched reality TV show.
