In a video that has been sighted online, the crew of the artist, his family members, and few loved ones were seen in a jubilation mood as Burna Boy was announced the winner of the Best Global Music category.

In his speech, he stated that his award was for the whole of Africa. He advised Africans never to give up on their ambitions and their dreams. “Africa is in the house, this is a big win for my generations of Africa. This should be a big lesson to all Africans out there. No matter where you are or what you do never give up you can achieve it.” he said.
