Well known Nigerian Gospel musician, songwriter and photographer, TY Bello finally shares her much talked about studio album christened, “We Are Fire”.
The ten track project is to officially announce her presence in 2022 and also to mark her birthday celebration. ‘We Are Fire’ album had contributions from some of your favorite gospel artists across the continent.
The project features the likes of Nosa, Awolesi Philip Oluwadamilola, Greatman Takit, Folabi Nuel, 121 Selah, Ore Macauley, Sinmidele, and more. TY Bello, real name Toyin Sokefun-Bello has been in the music scene for a while and has been consistent throughout the years.
She’s one of Nigeria’s most recognized female recording artiste. Prior to pursuing a solo career, she was a member of the now defunct gospel band Kush. TY Bello released her successful debut solo body of work tagged, “Greenland” album in 2015. The title track, ‘Greenland’ and ‘Ekundayo’ became instant hits and are now widely accepted household favorites.

TY has also built a reputation as one of Nigeria’s foremost photographers and is a member of the talented photography collective Depth of Field. Indeed she has the unique distinction of having photographed three sitting Nigerian Presidents.
