Top American rap artiste and Migos group member, Kiari Kendrell Cephus, better known by his stage name, Offset has announced an upcoming project with Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy.

Sharing the news via his official social media page, Offset hinted that, Starboy Entertainment headline act, Wizkid was the preferred artiste for the collaboration but unfortunately, the price Wizkid’s management charged was too expensive.

Offset, who is married to Cardi B disclosed this in a post via his verified Instagram acount (Insta-story). According to him, rates giving by Wizkid’s management was too high hence opted for the African Giant, the second less expensive option.

The ‘Clout It’ crooner expressed gratitude to Burna Boy for agreeing to work with him on his project. “Myself and @burnaboygram got some fire coming!!! I reached out to Wizkid’s team so that he can jump on my record, but that mf was too expensive. Had to go for someone lower than him. Thank you so much @burnaboyfram

Meanwhile: Well known American rapper and performing artiste, Jacques Bermon Webster II, professionally called Travis Scott headlined a concert at the O2 Arena.

The multifaceted recording artiste, songwriter and entertainer, Travis Scott just like many other top acts are in tune with the ‘Afrobeats to the World’ movement.

The ‘Escape Plan’ hit-maker brought out multiple award winning Nigerian singer and Afrobeats superstar Davido at his 02 Arena Concert and it was a sight to behold.

The two-day event, which was held at the iconic 02 Arena on Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, 7th Augusr, 2022, saw other acts perform. It was nothing but fun and excitment when Davido took center staage on the second day.
