An economic expert, Dr. Julius Kattah has described the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as a disappointment.
According to a report by Ghbase.com, Dr. Julius Kattah claimed Dr. Bawumia failed Ghanaians despite being labeled the economic messiah who was coming to save the dying economy.
Dr. Kattah said Bawumia does not have anything to show since he assumed office as vice president of Ghana.
He said; “the selection of Dr. Bawumia is not an option that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) must choose to pursue. He is not the kind of guy to have a hard and fast mentality. He does not have what it takes to make difficult judgments, and I feel that Trades Minister Alan Kyeremanten might perform better compared to Dr. Bawumia.
He continued by saying that “as head of the economic management team, Dr. Bawumia has failed.” Nevertheless, I just wanted to share my viewpoint. Others may contend that because he now holds the position of Vice President, he is qualified to hold the presidency. On the other hand, I must say that I disagree with it.”
Away from Ghana, Big Brother Naija star, Kathrina Jones, simply known as Ka3na has announced her candidacy for president in 2023 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ka3na announced the news on her verified Instagram account on Wednesday, May 25.
However it’s uncertain whether she’s committed to running in the election, her campaign posters have continued to saturate Nigeria’s social media arena.
On her Instagram channel, she captioned: “The cat is out of the bag. Abuja. Ka3na for Presidency. President of Nigeria.”
One of her followers @Jack Mali wrote: “Common boss lady, you have a huge fan base to give it a shot.”
