President of The Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said road infrastructure was a major problem in Ghana when his administration came into office.

He has therefore blasted former President John Dramani Mahama in an interview he granted with Oman Fm, saying that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lied to The people of Ghana when they claimed in their Green Book for building roads in the country.

“When we came into office, we realized road was one of the major concerning problems across the country. Meanwhile John Mahama told Ghanaians that they have constructed most of the roads in the country..”

The President also said that even the roads that the NDC constructed were filled with potholes within three months.

“The roads they even tried to build were filled with potholes within three months and Ghanaians can attest to the fact.” He said.

His Excellency Akufo-Addo added that, the NPP government under his leadership have tremendously performed well in the road sector.

He has asked Ghanaians to vote for the NPP in the just coming elections in December.
