Actor Denzel Washington and actress Pauletta Pearson married 35 years ago after meeting each other during the production of the movie ‘Wilmar’ in 1977.
They tied the knot in June 1983 and have since remained together till now.
They have four children who are all into filmmaking with some as screen actors.
Speaking to the Guardian in 2010, the two times Oscar winner admitted that their marriage like others has had it ups and down but they still found a way to keep a balance.
According to him, it takes a lot of hard work to keep a marriage
“There is no secret to the perfect marriage. Everyone has their ups and downs, we have had ours. It is hard work, you know, but we got the hang of it,”
