President Nana Akufo Addo really had a torrid time before ascending the high office of the country. He was close on many occasions but he always fell short in the last hurdle.
In the build-up to 2016 elections, even functionaries within his party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) did not give him a dog chance as they started a campaign aimed at discrediting and causing disaffection for him. These party members prophesied that he would never be President in Ghana.

1) Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tameklo, a founding member of the NPP said “The intolerant posture of Akufo Addo could spell doom for the country in an unlikely event he is elected as president.”
2) A very good friend of Akufo Addo, Kofi Koomson said “It’s not safe to elect Akufo Addo as president. It’s not safe…I cannot sleep with Akuffo Addo as president…!!!”
3) Hon. Maxwell Kofi Jumah, Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development in the Kuffour administration told us that ” Akufo Addo will be a terrible President.”

Evidently, God lifted him from the ashes of the naysayers and all things being equal, he will be reelected in the 2020 General Elections. This obviously shows God imposed him on Ghanaians to take them to the promise land.
