An Accra-based legal practitioner Maurice Ampaw has thrown some jabs at the flagbearer of the opposition NDC John Mahama and has described him as an unserious person.
According to Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, Former President John Mahama is not a serious person and is not fit to be a President in Ghana. This statement follows after John Mahama made references to comments like “Akyem Mafia” and Akyem Sakawa boys”.

Maurice Ampaw emphasized that the sitting president Nana Addo will retain the seat come December 7th. He stressed that the president Nana Addo will win because he has a good vision for Ghana.
“It is clear that Nana Addo has a vision”
Maurice Ampaw stated that President Akufo has been able to identify the problem of the citizens in the country and he is tackling it. “Instead of former President Mahama to talk about his manifesto, he’s busy talking about ‘Sakawa and Mafia.”

“He is coming to legalise everything including Ashawo (prostitution)”
He asseverated that Former President Mahama is desperate to get power and that acute penchant will coerce him to legalise everything. He stated that
“He is promising by heart. He is legalising by heart”,
