In an interview with Oman Fm, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said the responses he’s receiving proves that he has been faithful to Ghanaians of his 2016 elections campaign promises.

The President said this on Friday 4 September, 2020 in an interview he granted with Oman 107.1 fm in the Jubilee House, Accra.

He said: “The responses from my tours proves that I have been faithful to Ghanaians of my promises.”

Nana Addo in the 2016 general election campaign, made numbers of promises to Ghanaians including free senior high school, 1 village 1 dam, 1 district 1 factory, and others.

Indeed the free senior high school have been the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Akufo-Addo led government utmost achievement. The party has used the intervention as a major campaign message for 2020 general elections.

Also, the government has implemented the Planting for Food and Jobs, and the I village 1 dam policies.

The president made his bold statement on the considerations of the above mentioned achievements of his government.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the other hand shares a different view of Akufo-Addo’s achievements. Saying he has failed lots of his 2016 promises and so has under-performed.

His Excellence Akufo-Addo in preparations towards 2020 December 7 elections have started a regional tour. He has already toured the Central and Western Region.
