Afia Schwarzenneger, a former staunch supporter of the Nati onal Democratic Congress (NDC) has told actress and TV host- Nana Ama Mcbrown why she opted for the Nana Akufo Addo in the build-up to the December 7 elections.
Appearing on United Showbiz on United Television (UTV), the controversial content creator on YouTube said the famous Free SHS policy spearheaded by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was what swayed her allegiance to the party before the elections.
“I no more support party, I support them because of their policies. If their policies are not good, I’ll support another party that has a better policy. When Free SHS started, we all thought it could not work but my children enjoyed it for 3 years.
That’s why I supported Nana Addo for him to carry on with the agenda for another 4 more years. There are orphanages who after SHS end up as maids in the house but because of free SHS, they now further their education”, she told the actress cum TV host.
