Former Miss Ghana winner cum politician, Brigitte Dzogbenuku has said both the ruling Nw Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic (NDC) have nothing to offer Ghanaians since they literally drink from the same cup.

She said wields the key to turn Ghana’s fortunes around if she’s given the nod as the President of the Republic of Ghana. “We have been promised ‘a better Ghana’ and ‘real change’ over the years, but all we have seen is two sides of the same coin, a continuous widening gap between the rich and poor, and our human capital development index is just a notch above the average on our region,” she said while reading her acceptance speech after she was endorsed as the flagbearer for the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP).

The founder of the PPP, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, who had previously led the party to the 2012 and the 2016 presidential elections, decided not to contest the flag bearer position again due to ill health.
