Parliament will deliberate later today on the fourth report of the Appointments Committee on the appointment of the designated Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta the Committee has recommended approval by consensus.
Mr. Ofori-Atta was examined last week over a two-day period.

He is the only candidate left on the list of ministers that President Akufo-Addo presented to Parliament on January 21, 2021 for vetting.
Ofori Atta’s vetting was suspended because he had to fly out of the country on medical grounds.
This forced the committee to indefinitely postpone his vetting which was originally scheduled for March 8, 2021.
