The World Health Organization (WHO) has called on all African airlines to ensure maximum safety as they begin operations.

In a statement by the Regional Director for Africa, Dr. Matshidiso Moeti, they urged the management of all these airlines to ensure all measures are in place to prevent the spread of the deadly Coronavirus disease.

Information on passengers is also to be taken and also follow-ups are to be made with these passengers.

Social distancing, hand washing, and the use of sanitizers are to be ensured at airports.
