Whilst sharing her two cents on the ongoing brouhaha between Achimota School, the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the two Rastafarian students on Twitter, a white woman whose two kids went to the prestigious Achimota school has claimed Ghanaians are misinformed.

Identified as Alisa Hills, the pretty lady poured cold on the argument emanating from certain quarters that the posture of Achimota is selective and prejudicial. Ms. Hills argued that contrary to the widespread opinion that Caucasians are allowed to keep their own hair whilst the natives are told to cut down theirs, the real situation points to the opposite direction.

She tweeted;

‘My kids went to Achimota and we had to provide a report on why her hair should not be cut. They didn’t just allow us in there because we’re white Ghanaians are so misinformed.’

Meanwhile, the President of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), Angel Carbonou has aggravated the plight of the parents of two first-year students by insisting that the rules and regulations of the school cannot be bent for them.

‘I don’t even know why the Rastafarians don’t have their own schools, because they’ve been in this country [Ghana] for a very long time,’ Mr. Angel Carbonou said while addressing a press conference in Accra.
