The East Legon Divisional Police has declared former Black Stars striker, Baffour Gyan wanted for unlawfully seizing the passport of Gifty Gyan, wife of his brother, Asamoah Gyan.
It will be called that Baffour Gyan seized the passport and travel documents of Gifty and her three children when he met them on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport.

A report has it that lawyers for Mrs. Gyan filed an official complaint at the East Legon Police Station after Baffour Gyan failed to submit the documents which he seized from Mrs. Gyan when she arrived in the country.
It is, however, clear that all attempts by officials of East Legon Police to reach Baffour Gyan have failed.

The laws of Ghana only allow a court of law to seize a citizen’s passport for a stated reason(s) not an individual like Baffuor Gyan.
