The Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) has projected victory for Nana Akufo Addo in the forthcoming elections.
The prestigious economic and financial institution premised their prediction on the fact that despite the challenges of Covid-19, the Nana Akufo Addo led government has managed the economy expertly before and during the pandemic.

‘The next general elections are due in December 2020. The Economist Intelligence Unit expects the NPP to retain power, as the party is seen as a better custodian of the economy than the opposition National Democratic Congress,’ the EIU stated in its latest report.
This is the third EIU’s report on Ghana’s 2020 election and in all, the pendulum has swung in Nana Akufo Addo’s favour. The latest development has seen a plethora of reactions on social media as supporters from the NPP and NDC literally grab the neck of one another with their point of view.
