General captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has shared his two cents on the trending pitch invasion story which has dominated every available space on social and mainstream media.
Gyan is apparently not impressed with the way the security agencies handled the issue and juxtaposing it with what happens in foreign countries, the former skipper shared a photo of a white pitch invader and how he was handled.
Gyan wrote;
“We should learn ooo. Treating pitch invader who wanted a selfie with his idol. Wasn’t it beautiful? At least the guy shouldn’t have ended up being detained. Smh.”
Awal Suleman etched his name into the record books after he ran onto the pitch during AFCON qualification match between Ghana and South Africa on November 14 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
His audacity and the manner at which he evaded all the security personnel who chased him with some tumbling on the ground, is still trending and for some people, he really put the icing on the cake for them as the Black Stars beat South Africa by 2-0.
